We are seeking a dynamic Risk & Control Partner to support our Senior Managers in delivering against their accountabilities under the Individual Accountability Regime. In this critical role, you will be aligned to a designated Business, Function or Horizontal area and will act as a trusted advisor on all things risk, control and regulatory compliance.
You’ll play a key role in enhancing our control environment, providing expert input and challenge, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities
- Drive effective risk and control frameworks across aligned portfolios (Procurement, Legal, compliance, HR etc.) and ensure high-quality issue and audit management.
- Deliver clear articulation of risk and control landscapes, including internal and regulatory policy requirements.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across all lines of defense to support Reasonable Steps compliance and regulatory frameworks.
- Use control data and indicators to inform risk insight, drive thematic analysis and predict future risk exposures.
- Act as a coordination point for Control Services, Regulatory updates and change programme oversight.
- Provide consultancy and advisory services to enhance control effectiveness and embed a strong risk culture.
- Support design, review and monitoring of ring-fencing controls and compliance evidencing.
- Lead or contribute to ad-hoc control improvement initiatives and governance reporting.
Role requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in control, risk management, or assurance function.
- Strong understanding of Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF), Operational Risk Framework (ORF).
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and provide credible challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, project leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications & Traits
- Risk Management certification (e.g. IRM).
- Experience with Procurement, Legal, Compliance, HR landscapes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data.
- Experience working across multiple business lines and geographies.
- Adept in thought leadership and able to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
