VP – Financial Crime Sanctions Advisory

The Edge Partnership has partnered with a Global Investment Bank who are looking to grow their Sanctions Advisory team within the Financial Crime function. The are looking for an experienced VP to join their Corporate and Investment Banking division and advise on Sanctions risks across the region. This role will report into the regional head.

Key responsibilities

Act as a senior point of contact within the Sanctions team
Support in the interpretation and implementation of external documents and regulation changes
Advise the business on up to date Sanctions risks and regulation changes
Support the business and deals teams in up to date Sanctions policies
Represent the Sanctions and Financial Crime in related risk forums

Role requirements

Experience of advising on Financial Crime and Sanctions risks to the business
In depth and up to date local and regional knowledge of current Sanctions regulations and policies
Experience of working with wider functions and senior leaders in the business
Experience in looking at and advising on high risk jurisdictions across the region
