Any use of such data will be undertaken in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO), Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), Malaysia Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), India Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), and, where applicable, other relevant international data protection requirements.
Candidates submitting personal information to The Edge agree to allow us to act on their behalf and to use such information for recruitment, executive search, talent advisory and related business purposes in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
The Edge may collect personal information directly from you, from referees nominated by you, from publicly available professional sources, or from other lawful sources for recruitment and recruitment-related purposes. Such information may include your name, contact details, academic and professional qualifications, employment history, compensation information, references, interview notes, and any other information reasonably required for recruitment purposes.
In accordance with local regulations, we may also be required to obtain your National Identity Card number or passport number for verification.
The Edge may utilise approved technology platforms, including AI-assisted tools, transcription services, applicant tracking systems, customer relationship management systems, analytics platforms and recruitment productivity tools, to support candidate sourcing, interview documentation, market mapping, candidate assessment support, recruitment administration and record keeping. Final recruitment decisions and recommendations remain subject to human review and judgement.
Where interviews, consultation calls or meetings are documented using note-taking, transcription or AI-assisted technologies, such information will be processed solely for legitimate recruitment, compliance, quality assurance and business administration purposes.
The Edge will use your personal information only for recruitment and related business purposes. Your personal information may be disclosed to third parties where reasonably necessary for such purposes, including prospective employers, assessment providers, technology service providers, professional advisers, regulatory authorities and law enforcement agencies, or where otherwise required by law. Where required, your consent will be obtained before specific disclosures are made.
Given the international nature of our business, personal information may be transferred, accessed, processed or stored in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, India or other jurisdictions where The Edge, its clients or its approved service providers operate. Appropriate safeguards will be implemented to protect personal information during such transfers.
Upon successful identification, you may request access to, correction of, or updates to your personal information by contacting us at info@theedgepartnership.asia. Subject to applicable law, you may also request that we cease contacting you, restrict certain processing activities, withdraw consent where consent is relied upon, or request deletion of your personal information. We will respond to such requests in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
