An exciting opportunity with an international bank with significant business footprints and presence in Asia; urgently hiring a Director of Capital Reporting in Singapore.  This is a Group level role and based in of Singapore.  Only candidates currently working in Singapore will be considered.

Key responsibilities

  • Capital Management/Capital Reporting Experience
  • Balance Sheet Management/Treasury
  • Team lead experience preferred
  • Ensure Capital reporting complies to BCBS239 principles
  • Establish suitable controls to make sure critical data elements are in place
  • Conduct agile operating rhythm to adapt processes to support country and regional
  • initiatives around key strategic themes and optimisation
  • Engage with client and business level analytics to facilitate the right level of deep dive into
  • Capital, RWA and Exposure drivers
  • Support operationalisation of Basel IV and FRTB requirements in Singapore and ASEAN
  • region
  • Develop and cultivate an appropriate governance and reporting framework in areas such as Structural FX (“SFX”), external disclosures and business line mapping
  • Foster team engagement and alignment with strategic deliverables
  • Perform periodic gap analysis against regulatory requirements to ensure full compliance
  • Support capital issuances and other capital actions such as profit retention, dividend payments, etc.
  • Ensure adherence to all internal policies and external regulations and establish a robust governance process to evidence compliance.

Role requirements

  • Minimum a Bachelors Degree with a recognised University
  • Experienced in the Banking/Financial Services sector with strong experience in balance sheet management.
  • More than 10 years of experience in finance, risk or treasury
  • Team lead experience is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Financial markets products offered.
  • Knowledge on Capital Management and Risk Weighted Assets.
  • Proficient with Management Information (MI) tools and generating insights from large data sets
  • Resilient, self starter, good communication and stakeholders management skills, as well problem-solving skills
