Key responsibilities

  • Program Planning and Strategy: Define objectives, scope, and success criteria. Develop comprehensive plans aligned with organizational goals.
  • Project Execution: Lead cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Establish clear communication channels, provide regular updates, and facilitate productive meetings.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, optimize utilization, and manage dependencies.
  • Risk Management: Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and proactively address issues.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain quality standards, implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation, generate regular reports and metrics.
  • Change Management: Manage changes in scope, schedule, and objectives, assess impacts, and communicate effectively.
  • Vendor and Third-Party Management: Collaborate with external partners, ensure alignment with program goals.
  • Technical Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of technical aspects, provide guidance and support as needed.

Role requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager or similar role.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering (preferably Computer/Electrical Engineering).
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts with the ability to translate into non-technical terms.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Java, Python, and SDLC.
