They are looking for a candidate to join their Payment Operations team, responsible for executing daily payment transactions, treasury settlements and improving operational processes and procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute daily SWIFT/MEPS/GIRO/FAST/PayNow transactions promptly and precisely, addressing customer queries and non-STP items efficiently.
  • Conduct daily reconciliation of nostro accounts to ensure accuracy and transparency.
  • Engage in Payment-related projects and system upgrades, collaborating with stakeholders, initiating requests, and conducting comprehensive testing.
  • Develop and refine Payment procedures, delivering training sessions to enhance operational proficiency within the team.
  • Provide support for Treasury settlements, fixed deposits, loan operations, and other operational duties as required.

Role requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution and possess 5 years of hands-on experience in payment operations (including knowledge of one of SWIFT, MEPS/GIRO).
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of various payment channels, including regulatory compliance, best practices, and industry initiatives, with a proven ability to handle complex payment cases effectively.
  • Exhibit prior project experience, self-motivation, and proactive communication skills essential for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin, in order to communicate with local and China-based teams.
