Our client is a multinational company that provides global financial services firm that operates in several key areas within the financial industry. The company is headquartered in New York. They are looking for a Microfocus Developer to join their Mumbai/ Bangalore regional team.

Key responsibilities

Responsible for the development, customization, maintenance, and support of multiple customized applications of using Microfocus Service Manager.
Perform and manage End to End Service Manager Version Upgrades.
Analysing existing designs and interfaces and creating design extensions or enhancements.
Development, third party integrations and L3 Support for Microfocus Service Manager.
Responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of multiple distributed applications.

Role requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field.
Experienced Microfocus Service Manager developer who will be responsible for performing an upgrade of several applications built on Service Manager version 9.41 and enhancing the platform post migration.
At least 8+ years development experience in open text / HP/ Microfocus – Service Manager.
Must have development experience of working on multiple Service Manager major version upgrades.
Microfocus Service Manager Designing User Interface and configuring and customization of workflows specifically in the Change Management Module.
Experience in Web Services (Third party integrations with Service Manager).
Experience or knowledge of JavaScript, PERL.
Experience in Apache Tomcat.
Knowledge of DB: SQL server or DB2.
Experience or knowledge of .Net, informatica ETL will be added advantage.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Capable of collaborating effectively across a variety of Technology and Business groups.
