Media Sales Manager

Our client is the global leader in Digital Brand Integration (DBI) operating across continents. DBI is a new disruptive advertising technique addressing the fastest growing part of broadcast advertising – “branded entertainment”. Using state of the art technology and know-how they are able to place advertising imagery inside popular television shows thereby elevating the brand out of the usual clutter, providing implied endorsement by the program and acting talent as well as overcoming audience ad-blindness. They have revolutionized the manner in which product placement or built-ins can be delivered in a risk free, scalable and accountable manner. Complex brand integrations can now be delivered as routine media buys supported by post campaign reports on advertising effectiveness.

They are now hiring Media Sales Managers to grow their teams in Malaysia and Vietnam. This role is to manage key clients and to sell advertising opportunities to agencies and brands.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist sales team with conceptualization of customized sales proposals to meet clients’ briefs.
  • To develop and prepare creative solutions for clients.
  • Act as key point person on all clients’ deliverables for both internal and external communication.
  • Planning, management, implementation & execution of ad sales related creative solutions.
  • Tracking and reporting of sponsorship and advertising campaigns.
  • Tracking and reporting of billings and pacing numbers.
  • To proactively engage with the broadcast partners to support sales goals and strategies; monitor and ensure that all committed sales contracts are implemented and exceeds all expectations.

Role requirements

  • A proven client services or creative media or media branded content professional in the media and advertising industry for at least 5 – 6 years in a similar capacity.
  • Good understanding of the Malaysia media eco-system and nuances.
  • Must have experience in handling media television and entertainment sector
  • Experience in developing integrated creative advertising and sponsorship solutions with agencies and clients.
  • Existing experience with implementation and execution of creative media solutions.
  • Matured, self-starter, high-energy and driven, responsive, team player, execution-focused, strong interpersonal skills, creative and resourceful as well as superb negotiation skills.
  • Ability to speak, write and present well in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Degree in marketing / advertising / communications.
