Senior Group Procurement Manager (Food & Non-Food) – Established Conglomerate

Our client is an established conglomerate with a strong brand. They are now looking for a seasoned procurement candidate with experience in F&B procurement to join their leadership team to strengthen their group procurement activities. Food & Beverages or Hospitality Industry experience is ideal.

Key responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Group Procurement and overseeing a mid-sized team of procurement professionals
Develop and implement direct & indirect procurement strategies and programs, to optimize processes, reduce expenses while maintaining quality and ensuring compliance.
Strengthen the procurement function through best practices sharing, enhanced operational efficiency supported with system upgrade and implementation
Identity suppliers, review terms and negotiate contracts
Regular review of suppliers and sourcing vendors. Handle contract tending, negotiation, implementation and ongoing management.
Identify cost-saving opportunities, data analysis and reporting to monitor savings by category and suppliers.
Lead the team, provide guidance and training

Role requirements

Solid procurement experience gained from sizable organization in the F&B or Hospitality industry, with expertise managing food and non-food categories
Track record of cost savings and process improvements; prior experience in system upgrade/ implementation ideal
Dynamic leadership with experience leading and coaching a mid-sized team
Commercial and strategic with proven ability to utilize data for cost saving initiatives
Excellent stakeholder management skills and accustomed to working with leadership team
Sound communication & interpersonal skills
Strong knowledge of sourcing, supply chain management and contract negotiation.
Familiar in system transformation and implementation.
Good command of written & spoken English and Chinese.
