Key responsibilities
Reporting into the Head of Legal and Compliance, the incumbent will:
- Implement relevant compliance framework to ensure that the organization adheres to legal and regulatory mandates.
- Assessing risks associated with KYC/AML activities and devising strategies and plans to mitigate those risks.
- Drive policies & procedures to related up-to-date regulations and industry benchmarks.
- Deliver training and to internal staff on compliance-related related to AB&C, data privacy, etc.
- Handle any incoming complaints and take appropriate actions to address them.
- Work closely with local/regional stakeholders and participate in any on-going projects
Role requirements
To be eligible for this role you will require:
- A relevant degree in Business/Finance related subjects
- Certifications in AML/FCC space is advantageous, i.e. ACAMS
- 5-7 years of FCC/AML experience in the compliance field within the financial services/fintech industry
- Familiar relevant CDD/AML/KYC rules & regulations
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing and growing organization required.
- Any prior knowledge, passion or working experience from a blockchain/Web3 business is advantageous
- Proficiency in English
