The Business Head will oversee all aspects of our Partial Truckload (PTL) business, leveraging expertise to manage and optimize operations for efficiency, reliability, and profitability. Seeking a candidate with a proven track record in building and scaling PTL operations and developing asset-light models.

Key responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for PTL business growth.
- Identify operational improvement opportunities and cost optimization.
- Execute initiatives to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.
Operational Management:
- Supervise day-to-day PTL operations, including dispatch and delivery.
- Ensure operational efficiency, quality standards adherence, and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor KPIs and implement measures to achieve operational targets.
Business Development and Partnerships:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Foster strategic partnerships with vendors and carriers.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing for customer acquisition and retention strategies.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Build and lead a high-performing operations team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Recruit, train, and develop talent for PTL business growth.
Role requirements
- Proven success in building and scaling PTL businesses.
- Strong understanding of asset-light models and operational management.
- Strategic planning and execution expertise.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience with logistics industry players like VRL is advantageous.
