Key responsibilities

Act as one of the primary contact points for regulatory bodies, fostering positive relationships with regulators.
Provide regulatory compliance advisory to business and function stakeholders in relation to the Banking Act and its applicable regulations.
Manage compliance risks and uphold compliance with Singapore regulations for the Bank by ensuring adherence to Compliance policies and procedures, amongst others.
Monitor and new regulatory requirements to relevant stakeholders and senior management, and help implement it within the organization.
Assist in addressing queries from the regulators, auditors and authorities, ensure timely submission of queries from concerned parties.

Role requirements

Degree in Accountancy, Banking, Finance, Business or Law, or relevant professional qualification in financial services.
At least 7 years of experience in regulatory, compliance or advisory roles in a financial institution, preferably at banks or fintech firms.
Prior experience working in a regulatory environment/ with a regulator is an advantage.
Experience in dealing with audits and/or regulatory examinations.
Sound understanding of the regulatory landscape and relevant laws and regulations (Banking Act MAS 626 etc.).
Highly motivated, meticulous, proactive and versatile team player, possessing strong communication skills with proven ability to work independently and under pressure.
