Assistant Manager, Corporate Administration

Our client is a global firm with a strong culture and employee branding and are looking for an experienced company secretarial professional to support a portfolio of offshore clients (British Virgin Islands and Cayman) delivering exceptional corporate administration service. The role is based in Hong Kong and works closely with the team leader.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide full spectrum of company secretarial duties for the assigned portfolio of clients (including but not limited to preparing and filing corporate documents, maintaining and updating corporate records, drafting minutes and board resolutions).
  • Being hands on, together with the team manager act as a coordinator for all the regulatory and administration tasks such as statutory filings preparation, annual payments, ad-hoc reporting, etc.
  • Collaborate with Client Onboarding, Legal, Finance teams to ensure the due diligence, compliance and settlements.
  • Maintain the relationship with the clients and make sure that their requests are being met within the set timeframe and according to the standards.

Role requirements

  • Degree in Corporate Governance and/or HKICG professional qualification.
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate administration professional services/legal services/offshore law firms setting managing offshore companies.
  • Strong knowledge and awareness of the most recent regulations updates, specifically under BVI and Cayman jurisdictions.
  • Practical experience in drafting and preparing documentation, filings and solid understanding of the procedures.
  • Strong communication skills, confidence in dealing with clients and internal parties.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and independence.
