Senior Group Manager – Employee Digital Services (SaaS HR Product Development)

The company is looking for a Senior Group Manager to join their team in Bangalore, India. This role is accountable for all HRIS deliveries from the location and for the end-to-end lifecycle of products, applications, or services, from conception to retirement, including dependency management. The team is responsible for creating and overseeing cutting-edge HR digital applications used by employees, managers, and the HR department.

 

Please note that knowledge and working experience in Workday or any relevant SaaS HR application is a must have for this role.

Key responsibilities

  • Forming multi-functional teams to manage the lifecycle of IT products, applications, or services.
  • Overseeing HR data reporting, analytics, exposure, and distribution.
  • Identifying opportunities and creating products or services that satisfy client / end-user needs in terms of time, quality, and cost.
  • Leading the IT product / application or service multi-functional team to manage the lifecycle, ensuring development and operational SLAs are met.
  • Continuous release management.
  • Ensuring participation of an end-user advocate to understand users and usage, delivering solutions that best serve both.
  • Translating the product / application or service vision into a prioritized backlog aligned with the business product owner.
  • Defining chargeback models for respective IT products, applications, or services.
  • Defining and executing go-to-market strategies for products and services.
  • Managing and mentoring team members.
  • Operational performance, cross-regional efficiency, and delivery.
  • Ensuring operational excellence and compliance with security, export control, and other regulations.

Role requirements

  • Engineering graduate with 18+ years of experience in IT development and product / project management.

  • Proven skills in building-in-quality.
  • Mandatory knowledge and working experience in Workday or any relevant SaaS HR application.

  • Knowledge of application development in multi-SaaS and / or on-premise environments, including development and deployments.
  • Adaptable to changing dynamics.
