Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of 2-3 internal communications specialists.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee internal communication strategies to ensure effective information flow within the organization.
  • Edit, draft, and manage communication materials, including emails, newsletters, blogs, video scripts, townhalls, events, and similar channels.
  • Ensure the content created is relevant to the audience and conveys the intended message succinctly.
  • Represent data logically through flowcharts, infographics, and other tools.
  • Create communications related to policy changes, announcements, FAQs, and messages from senior leadership.
  • Manage and oversee the deliverables for both internal and external communication.
  • Provide operational rigor and structure to the deliverables managed by the communications team.
  • Continuously improve the team’s engagement, delivery, and operating model.
  • Support the Head of Communications in managing day-to-day operations effectively.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members, ensuring their professional development.
  • Identify, manage, and deliver internal improvement projects for the communications team.
  • Ensure strict adherence to enterprise brand standards and style guides.

Role requirements

  • Minimum of 8 to 12 years of experience in internal communications or a similar role in corporate communications.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team.
  • A strong portfolio of published articles, including thought leadership pieces, PR announcements, blog posts, and similar work.
  • Prior working experience in a Global Capability Center (GCC) setup is preferred.
  • Master’s degree in mass communication, journalism, and/or English.
  • Additional skills in creative writing and storytelling will be an added advantage.
