We are hiring for a one of the world’s leading providers of reinsurance, insurance, and other forms of insurance-based risk transfer, working to make the world more resilient.  We are a team of expert business analysts, Data Architects, and software engineers, spread across multiple locations around the globe, driving the Enterprise Data Governance to enable us to manage ‘Data as an asset’ within the company. We are looking to add a Data Engineer with EBX.

Key responsibilities

  • The role requires a hands-on Tibco EBX developer.
  • Support software releases, development of EBX features / customization and trainings (wherever applicable).
  • Ensure smooth collaboration with business requestors and other MDM engineers.
  • Keep up to date on emerging technology trends, standards and tools in areas relevant to MDM; and present new solutions and advise the business on value of the proposition.

Role requirements

  • A degree in information management, computer science, business administration, or a related field.
  • Over 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, preferably in data-related roles such as MDM, Data Warehouse, Data Governance, etc. with at least 3 Years of relevant EBX experience.
  • Excellent social skills and proficiency in English.
  • Strong analytical skills for effective problem-solving.
  • Experience with database navigation, data analysis, data profiling, and data modelling. Knowledge of UI / UX design, data integration, and Web Services (REST / SOAP) is advantageous.
  • A collaborative spirit with experience in an agile software development environment, particularly SCRUM.
