Key responsibilities
Creating a comprehensive Cloud platform that meets both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Design and deliver a Platform Architecture suitable for the Clients public cloud Secure Landing Zone (Azure).
- Develop disaster recovery and backup plans based on RTO, RPO, and other non-functional requirements.
- Guide and support Engineering teams in building the infrastructure according to the Platform Architecture.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts in Security, Governance, and Enterprise Architecture to contribute to and develop the cloud technology roadmap, ensuring adherence to best practices.
Role requirements
The following proven technical skills are essential:
- Expertise in Azure landing zone design, platform automation design, DevSecOps tooling, network topology & connectivity, access management & privileged identity design, platform monitoring, security architecture, and high availability architecture design.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages: .Net / C#, Java, Python, or Ruby.
- Comprehensive understanding of Cloud Platform Services (IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS).
- Experience with DevOps methodology (preferably DevSecOps), including continuous deployment, delivery pipelines, and test environments, both technically and organizationally.
- Knowledge of Microservices and Containers, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong internal stakeholder management skills.
- Capacity to adapt to changing priorities and challenges throughout project development, successfully managing customer expectations.
- Effective stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to work with Product Owners, Product Managers, Development, Testing, and Implementation teams.
- Extensive exposure to and expertise with projects involving Agile Methodology.
Preferred qualifications:
- Knowledge of other cloud platforms, such as AWS.
- Experience with web application development using tools like Visual Studio.
- Familiarity with Network technologies, especially in Azure.
