Key responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems, processes, and procedures to ensure consistent product quality
  • Oversee product quality testing and inspections throughout the manufacturing process, from incoming materials to final assembly
  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to resolve quality problems and implement corrective actions
  • Lead quality improvement projects and initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes, reduce defects, and improve first pass yield
  • Provide quality training and guidance to production staff to build a strong quality culture
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable quality standards, regulations, and customer requirements
  • Maintain quality documentation, including quality manuals, control plans, and test records
  • Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters with customers and regulatory bodies

 

Role requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related technical field
  • 7+ years of experience in a quality management role, preferably in the Small Domestic Appliances or kitchenware/ cookware industry
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective quality management systems
  • Expertise in quality tools and methodologies, such as Six Sigma, Lean, and statistical process control
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Working knowledge of relevant quality standards and regulations
  • Proficient in data analysis, root cause analysis, and process improvement technique
