Head of Quality – Apparel Manufacturing Firm

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality management systems to maintain product quality and consistency.
• Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, providing training and support to achieve high performance.
• Establish and maintain quality standards and specifications for all products and manufacturing processes.
• Monitor and evaluate quality performance metrics, identifying improvement areas and implementing corrective actions.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and address potential issues.
• Collaborate with production, design, and supply chain teams to resolve quality concerns and implement preventative measures.
• Manage customer complaints and product returns, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in quality management, promoting continuous process improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure they meet our quality standards.
• Prepare and present detailed quality reports to senior management, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Design and implement training programs, including evaluating their effectiveness and making necessary adjustments for continuous learning and improvement.
