Role Overview:

The Associate Director of Sales & Marketing Technology leads the software engineering teams responsible for creating and maintaining technology solutions that support sales and marketing initiatives. This technical leader drives the development and implementation of these solutions to help teams achieve their goals effectively.

Key responsibilities

Overseeing architecture, design, delivery, projects, systems, applications, maintenance, and resource allocation for:

  • CRM (Microsoft Dynamics 365), Customer Data Platform (CDP), and all third-party integrations related to CRM.
  • In-house sales reporting, aggregation processes, Power BI analytics, and other Go-to-Market tools, along with their integrations.
  • Public and private sites powered by the Sitecore Content Management Platform.
  • All external-facing tools on the company website.

Role requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have strong CRM expertise, hands-on software development experience, and significant people management skills. They should be comfortable supporting both sales and digital marketing technology stacks and familiar with web content management. This senior IT role requires hands-on experience with relevant technologies to be effective.

  • Ability to drive enterprise standards, vision, and architecture.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong partnership-building with business stakeholders and collaboration with support services, IT groups, business solutions, and data operations teams.
  • Involvement in expanding the Mumbai office, including key recruitment activities

  • Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of experience in Software development.
  • 5+ years of People Management experience required: recruiting, hiring, performance management, resource, and task allocation, mentoring and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Hands-on and technical experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution, Microsoft Dynamics 365, is a must.
  • .NET Framework/.NET Core: Expertise in creating scalable, high-performance applications using C# or other .NET languages.
  • NET MVC/Web API: Skilled in developing web applications and APIs.
  • Microsoft SQL Server: Strong knowledge in database design, optimization, and SQL querying.
  • Visual Studio: Proficient in development, debugging, and deployment using Visual Studio.
  • Advanced technical expertise and 5+ years of practical experience in:
  • JavaScript
  • HTML5 and CSS
  • Understanding of software testing principles and Selenium as a tool.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and tools within the Microsoft ecosystem, including continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD), version control (e.g., GitLab), and infrastructure automation (TeamCity, Octopus Deploy).
  • Advanced technical expertise in React and/or Angular.
  • Experience with Enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) products such as Semarchy, Boomi, IHS Markit.
