We are currently partnering with a digital securities exchange who are growing rapidly in the region.

They are looking for an Operations Manager to join their team, with responsibility for day-to-day operational / trade process management, as well as driving projects across the business.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee custody and trade settlement operations, ensuring timely trade settlements, processing corporate actions, and managing product life cycles.
  • Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives, implement process and system enhancements for optimal productivity and efficiency, and manage business-as-usual tasks.
  • Maintain key relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensure compliance with all policies and regulations, and deliver effective service to clients.
  • Handle daily trade processing, manage post-trade functions, communicate trade statuses to clients, and resolve trade queries and issues.
  • Lead and manage a regional team, demonstrating strong leadership skills and fostering collaboration to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Role requirements

  • Minimum 5 years operations experience – with strong knowledge of securities operations workflows, custody procedures, and settlement processes.
  • Familiarity with financial securities products – ideally equities and/or funds (VCC/CIS); Fixed Income advantageous but not essential
  • Experience in a fintech environment would be an advantage.
  • Proven ability to drive initiatives and implement changes.
