Key responsibilities

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable and high-performance software solutions.
You will work with Node.js, serverless frameworks, and AWS to build and maintain microservices and REST APIs.
Your role will also involve leading a small development team, ensuring best practices in software engineering, and driving high-quality code through rigorous testing.

Role requirements

6+ years of commercial experience as a software engineer / developer.
Commercial experience 5+ years with Node.js and serverless framework.
3+ years of Experience with Typescript.
3+ years of Experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
3+ years of Experience with microservice architectures.
Commercial Experience 2+ years with AWS.
4+ years of Extensive experience with various levels of testing e.g. unit, integration, end-to-end.
Experience working with Data base.
Pragmatic approach to problem solving and solution architecture.
Attention to detail when developing solutions.
Ability to break down and communicate complex problems in simple terms.
Work experience in medium to large teams.
Upper-intermediate English (both spoken and written).
Be able to lead a small team E2E.
