Key responsibilities

  • As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable and high-performance software solutions.
  • You will work with Node.js, serverless frameworks, and AWS to build and maintain microservices and REST APIs.
  • Your role will also involve leading a small development team, ensuring best practices in software engineering, and driving high-quality code through rigorous testing.

Role requirements

  • 6+ years of commercial experience as a software engineer / developer.
  • Commercial experience 5+ years with Node.js and serverless framework.
  • 3+ years of Experience with Typescript.
  • 3+ years of Experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
  • 3+ years of Experience with microservice architectures.
  • Commercial Experience 2+ years with AWS.
  • 4+ years of Extensive experience with various levels of testing e.g. unit, integration, end-to-end.
  • Experience working with Data base.
  • Pragmatic approach to problem solving and solution architecture.
  • Attention to detail when developing solutions.
  • Ability to break down and communicate complex problems in simple terms.
  • Work experience in medium to large teams.
  • Upper-intermediate English (both spoken and written).
  • Be able to lead a small team E2E.
