Our client is a reputable and leading Digital Asset organization with an international footprint – they are currently looking for a Regulatory Compliance Project Manager to be based in Hong Kong. Key responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation of new regulated businesses for the group globally, including developing detailed project plans and coordinating across functions to ensure timely delivery.
  • Manage the end-to-end licensing process for new regulated businesses and jurisdictions, collaborating closely with the Regulatory Affairs team.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to drive the licensing application process
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders on licensing applications and operational readiness in new markets.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with new regulated business and licensing projects.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Role requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as finance, business, or law. Qualifications in PRINCE, PMP, CAMS, etc is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing large-scale, complex projects involving licensing and setting up new regulated businesses, preferably in the financial services industry: open to experience from various jurisdictions including APAC, EMEA, or US
  • Sound working knowledge of financial services regulations and licensing requirements for investment firms and digital asset service providers.
  • Strong project management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a detail-oriented, analytical problem-solving mindset.
  • Demonstrated initiative, drive, and the ability to identify and execute the necessary actions to achieve desired outcomes.
