Key responsibilities

  • Quality Management System (QMS): Developing, implementing, and maintaining a QMS that aligns with industry standards (such as ISO 9001) and company objectives.
  • Auditing: Conducting internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality standards and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Leading initiatives to improve processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
  • Compliance: Ensuring that products and services comply with regulations and standards, including those related to safety, environmental, and legal requirements.
  • Training and Development: Training staff on quality management principles, tools, and best practices to foster a culture of quality within the organization.
  • Data Analysis: Analysing quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas that need improvement.
  • Supplier Quality Management: Ensuring that suppliers meet quality standards, often by performing supplier audits and fostering strong supplier relationships.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Monitoring customer feedback and addressing any quality concerns or complaints to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Documentation: Managing all quality-related documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and inspection records.
  • Leadership: Leading cross-functional teams in quality initiatives and communicating effectively with senior management, stakeholders, and other departments to align quality goals with business objectives.

Role requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in quality assurance or equivalent with at least 10 years’ relevant experience and Lead Auditor certification. Project Management certification will be an added advantage.
  • You will possess at least 5 years’ relevant experience and have conducted Quality Assurance Audits, Incident Investigations, Site Inspections, Risk Assessments, Change Management, etc.
  • To be successful in this role, you will need to be detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and business skills including written/verbal communication, computer use, and the ability to multi-task efficiently
