Key responsibilities

  • Sourcing Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sourcing strategy for electronic components that supports product development and market demands.
  • Supplier Engagement: Identify, evaluate, and establish strategic partnerships with global suppliers to ensure high-quality components at competitive prices.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, technological advancements, and supplier capabilities to inform sourcing decisions and drive innovation.
  • Cost Management: Lead initiatives to optimize costs while maintaining quality standards and mitigating supply chain risks.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and manufacturing teams to align sourcing activities with project timelines and product specifications.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop proactive strategies to mitigate those risks.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure sourcing practices comply with industry regulations and align with sustainability initiatives.

Role requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in global sourcing or procurement of electronic components and in a leadership role.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices specific to electronics components.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience managing PRC and/or Hong Kong-based teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Manager/ Manager.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
