Key responsibilities

  • Lead the development of the Bank’s Information & Analytics products, leveraging a proven track record of delivering these solutions across global organizations with varying levels of business analytics maturity. Engage with analytics leaders to embed advanced analytics into decision-making processes.
  • Serve as a thought leader in enabling data architecture and delivering data-analytics platforms, whether on-premises, cloud-based, or hybrid.
  • Bring exceptional expertise in information and analytics, particularly in data preparation, insight generation, and visualization using BI tools or similar platforms, along with advanced data prediction using AI, ML, and deep learning technologies.
  • Provide strong leadership in data management, ensuring the ethical and controlled delivery of analytics products.
  • Act as an information and analytics visionary, driving the delivery of cutting-edge solutions through strategic internal and external partnerships to offer best-in-class products.
  • Shape the information and analytics agenda, collaborating with all business units to design and implement roadmaps for analytics adoption.
  • Build and lead a global team of information and analytics experts, mentoring and fostering their growth to support the transformation of the organization.

Role requirements

  • Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics) or a 4-year Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in data.
  • Preferred experience in Financial Services or adjacent consumer-centric industries.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental data concepts, including data modelling, pipelines, quality, lineage, and warehousing methodologies, along with familiarity with data architecture paradigms.
  • Proficient in cloud engineering and solution design, with experience using AWS data platforms like Redshift, EMR, RDS, Athena, and Glue, or similar platforms.
  • Expertise in Data-Ops, AI, and ML-Ops processes, platforms, and methodologies, with hands-on experience in CI/CD, Jenkins, Ansible, DevOps, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Experience in microservices development, including building and maintaining scalable, fault-tolerant services and efficient server-side APIs.
  • Skilled in REST services, JSON, Python 3, Linux/Unix shell scripting, and containerization.
  • Expertise in modern data management methodologies and architecture.
  • Experience in building and managing data pipelines using Spark or similar big data tools.
  • Strong business acumen to identify scenarios where data and analytics can drive KPIs and improve business outcomes.
  • Solid understanding of core business functions and the ability to apply analytics for change management.
  • Ability to clearly demonstrate the value of analytics interventions and drive decision-making.
  • Proven ability to engage and manage relationships with C-suite and senior executives to drive compliance with data frameworks and guide change management processes as needed.
  • Capable of training and mentoring teams, internal business units, and stakeholders on data management frameworks and operational improvements.
  • Familiar with agile methodologies and able to manage and deliver multiple projects effectively. Capable of planning, managing dependencies, handling complex analyses, and enabling necessary reporting.
