Key responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies aligned with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments to drive revenue growth and expand the company’s customer base. Lead efforts to establish and nurture strategic relationships with key clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Sales Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the sales team, setting clear sales targets, performance objectives, and KPIs. Implement sales processes, methodologies, and best practices to optimize sales effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Marketing and Brand Management: Work closely with the key team members to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns, branding initiatives, and promotional activities to enhance the company’s market visibility and reputation.
  • Pricing and Revenue Optimization: Develop and implement pricing strategies that maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market. Monitor pricing trends, conduct pricing analysis, and adjust pricing strategies as needed to optimize revenue performance.
  • Market Analysis and Insights: Conduct market research supported by team members, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify market trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities. Utilize insights to inform strategic decision-making and drive business growth.
  • Contract Negotiation and Management: Lead negotiations with key clients, suppliers, and partners to secure favorable terms, agreements, and contracts. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and manage ongoing relationships to maximize value and mitigate risks.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration and alignment across various departments, including sales, product development, finance, and operations, to ensure coordinated efforts in achieving commercial objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to track and evaluate commercial performance against targets and KPIs. Provide regular updates and insights to Leadership team on commercial activities, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies in the commercial domain. Identify opportunities for process improvements, organizational efficiencies, and innovation to drive continuous growth and competitive advantage.
  • Always work in partnership with the Vice President of Asia and align with CEO’s business aspirations.

Role requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field. Master’s degree/MBA preferred but not essential. Foremost, we look for team members who bring in experience and expertise.
  • Proven experience in commercial leadership roles, with a track record of driving revenue growth and achieving business objectives.
  • Strong strategic planning and business development skills, with the ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in data analysis and decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating across organizational boundaries.
