Key responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
- Define and execute a comprehensive delivery model for KYC workstreams, aligning efforts across multiple teams to achieve strategic objectives.
- Drive best practices in Agile delivery, resourcing, and metrics tracking to enhance efficiency and adapt to evolving business needs.
Product & Business Management
- Own the product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives for maximum value delivery in alignment with client needs and policy frameworks.
- Oversee backlog management, sprint planning, and iterative refinement to ensure continuous progress.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform product strategies.
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor a diverse team of over 10 Product Owners and Business Analysts across multiple locations, fostering a high-performing, collaborative environment.
- Partner with Scrum Masters and squad members to build a psychologically safe and empowered team culture.
Operational Excellence
- Lead the evaluation of business initiatives, gather requirements, and deliver analysis artifacts such as operating models, process maps, and business requirements.
- Ensure governance and compliance with delivery standards, supporting Risk Framework Owners and maintaining high regulatory standards.
Risk & Stakeholder Management
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders across CIB, Legal, Compliance, and Technology teams.
Role requirements
Ideal Candidate
- Experience: 15+ years in banking with expertise in client onboarding, KYC, tax regulations (FATCA, CRS), and regulatory compliance (MIFID, EMIR). Proven track record in leading large teams and delivering programs worth $10M+.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Azure, and Clarity. Agile certifications and strong problem-solving skills are preferred.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities with a collaborative mindset.
- Leadership: Demonstrated capability to drive change, build consensus, and deliver measurable outcomes in complex organizational settings.
