Key responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end factory operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety regulations are consistently met.
  • Drive strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance production capacity.
  • Manage and align production, quality control, maintenance, and supply chain teams.
  • Lead recruitment, training, and employee engagement initiatives to build a strong workforce.
  • Implement robust quality assurance programs and continuous improvement methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.
  • Oversee factory budgets, P&L, and develop cost-effective operational strategies.
  • Collaborate with procurement and logistics to streamline supply chain processes.
  • Deliver performance reports, including P&L metrics and EHS updates, to stakeholders.
  • Foster relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth operations.

Role requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Business Administration; Master’s or MBA preferred.
  • Experience:
  • 10+ years in mechanical manufacturing or industrial operations.
  • 5+ years in a leadership role within a factory environment.
  • Proven experience with APAC stakeholders and travel across the region.
  • Financial expertise in budgeting, cost control, and P&L management.
  • Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and compliance.
