Key responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and protocols.
  • Lead and mentor a team of laboratory professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Develop and implement laboratory policies, procedures, and quality control measures.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless integration of laboratory services with patient care.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in fertility treatments and laboratory techniques, incorporating best practices into the lab’s operations.
  • Manage the laboratory budget, resources, and inventory effectively.

Role requirements

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the fertility field, with a proven track record of leadership and team management.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory operations, quality control, and regulatory requirements in the healthcare industry.
  • Solid experience with multiple Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) such as IVF, ICSI, embryo culture, and cryopreservation
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and adapt to the local culture in Hong Kong.
  • Willingness to relocate to Hong Kong if currently based overseas.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) with a compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Proficient in MS office applications, i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
