Key responsibilities

  • Address and mediate employee grievances, workplace conflicts and disciplinary matters while ensuring compliance with local labor laws.
  • Provide expert advice and coaching to managers and HR partners on employee relations topics, including grievance handling, compliance, absence management and performance improvement.
  • Oversee governance and training related to workplace policies such as POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) and other compliance requirements.
  • Review and enhance employee relations processes and documentation for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with compliance and whistleblowing teams to manage investigations seamlessly and uphold workplace integrity.
  • Assist in developing and updating HR policies and procedures in alignment with current labor laws and organizational values.
  • Lead or contribute to employee relations initiatives, including large-scale change management projects.
  • Track and analyze employee relations metrics to drive data-informed decision-making and create comprehensive review reports.
  • Act as a trusted partner, ensuring a supportive and inclusive environment while safeguarding employee well-being.

Role requirements

  • A degree in HR / Industrial Relations or a related field.
  • 8–10 years of HR experience with a focus on employee relations, compliance and industrial relations.
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws (e.g., POSH, Maternity Benefits, Standing Orders).
  • Expertise in handling workplace compliance issues, anti-discrimination policies and cross-cultural sensitivities.
  • Proven experience in conflict resolution, coaching stakeholders and managing relationships across organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to recognize and escalate employment-related risks appropriately.
  • A robust professional network to benchmark and implement best practices.
