The company is looking for a Director – Enterprise Risk to join them. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity of the company’s operations and establishing enterprise risk framework and standards.

Key responsibilities

The candidate is responsible for identifying, assessing and mitigating risks associated with the company’s business relating to Capital markets & DPT related products. This role is also responsible in developing risk management strategies and frameworks to protect the organization, financial positions, assets, personnel and IT, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will need to know how to implement Operations Risk & Control framework to mitigate Operations Risks such as Third Party – Outsorucing Risk, Business Continuity Management, Business Operations Risk will be required to enhance the firm’s overall robustness and operational resilience.

In this position, you will perform a range of duties working closely with management, compliance, operations, finance and risk management team. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and in-depth knowledge of the best practice in risk management.

Role requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience covering Financial and or Non-Financial Risk / Operational Risk within the financial service sector, with relevant experience in compliance, internal audit, and/or enterprise risk management (ERM).
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field.
  • Familiar with risk event management, issue management, risk assessments, internal control testing methodologies, Key Risk Indicators, scenario analysis, risk analytics and reporting
  • Able to analyze, collate and understand the business requirements
  • Have an understanding of MAS regulatory frameworks, including the Payment Services Act of 2019 and Capital Markets Services Licenses (CMSL) under the Securities and Futures Act 2001
  • Experience in conducting gap analysis and project management
  • Good product and transaction flow knowledge of capital market products (listed and OTC spot/derivatives) and Digital Payment Token (DPT) services (digital assets, wallets, digital venues).
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and regulatory capital adequacy principles (RBC).
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, professional, highly analytical, collaborative, and excellent communication skills (written and spoken – English, to work with internal and external stakeholders)
