Senior Manager, Contracts Management

We are currently seeking a Contracts & Cost Specialist to join our client. In this role, you will provide strategic advisory on cost, contracts, and procurement to support the successful delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects—on time, within budget, and in full compliance with government regulations.

Key responsibilities

Cost Management: Perform cost reviews, benchmarking, and due diligence to support budgeting and funding assessments for infrastructure projects.
Budget & Cash Flow Monitoring: Track and report on project cash flows, support budget forecasting, and ensure strong fiscal oversight.
Procurement Advisory: Advise on public sector procurement practices in line with local regulations and ensure compliance with relevant guidelines.
Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage contract documentation, specifications, and support effective contract strategy implementation.
Training & Process Enhancement: Develop SOPs, deliver internal training, and promote best practices in procurement and contract management.

Role requirements

Relevant Qualifications: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Project Management, Facilities Management, or a related field.
Industry Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of recent, relevant experience in cost management, quantity surveying, or contract administration within the local construction sector.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with government procurement regulations such as the SOP Act, IM, and PSSCOC.
Technical Competence: Skilled in contract documentation, cost estimation, valuation of works, and interpretation of technical drawings.
Strong Communication & Delivery: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
