Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement category plans aligned with business objectives, market trends, and consumer demand.
  • Analyze sales data, market insights, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Drive innovation in product selection, ensuring a competitive and differentiated electronics assortment.
  • Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers to ensure high-quality products at competitive prices.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and promotional agreements to maximize margins and exclusivity.
  • Build strong supplier relationships to secure favorable deals and early access to new products.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to plan promotions, launches, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Set competitive pricing strategies while maintaining healthy profit margins.
  • Plan and execute promotional activities, including bundle deals, discounts, and clearance sales.
  • Work closely with marketing, e-commerce, and store teams to ensure effective product presentation and sales execution.

Role requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven buying/ category management experience in retail/FMCG; background in electronics/audio products is highly preferred.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and commercially savvy, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic retail market.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail to make strategic business decisions.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong supplier relationships.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (both written and spoken).
