We are currently partnering with a global Asset Management company who have a growing presence within the APAC region.

They are looking for a VP level candidate to manage their Middle Office team, responsible for all trading related operations activities, as well as people management and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

Lead the APAC Middle Office team to support trading activities across the region
Collaborate with the global operations teams under a follow-the-sun model, coordinating with European and US-based counterparts
Oversee external vendors, ensuring performance aligns with SLAs and KPIs for APAC back-office operations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders (brokers, custodians) to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and quality control.
Partner with the Change Management team to support new or updated trading initiatives in the APAC region.

Role requirements

10+ years of Middle Office / Operations experience, including 3 years as a people manager
In-depth knowledge of trade processing and settlement across multiple asset classes, with strong preference for Fixed Income product experience.
