Our client is a global banking firm which provides industry-focused services for clients across geographies. We are currently looking for a highly analytical and strategic Business Planning Manager to support the global Wealth & Retail Banking CFO in Bangalore / Chennai.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the WRB CFO, supporting strategic priorities and managing incoming requests.
  • Coordinate across global finance teams to ensure timely delivery of projects and key finance initiatives.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations and papers for senior leadership forums, set agendas, drive meeting content, and ensure effective follow-ups for CFO-chaired meetings.
  • Represent the CFO at internal forums, where designated, lead communication efforts across the global WRB Finance function.
  • Support transformation initiatives aimed at simplifying and enhancing finance operations.

Role requirements

  • MBA, CA, CFA, or ACCA with 12+ years of experience in financial services, with 5+ years in business planning, strategy, or financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strategic mindset with hands-on project management capability.
  • Exceptional executive communication and presentation abilities.
  • Expertise in simplifying complex financial concepts for senior audiences.
  • Experience with senior-level coordination and planning, ability to influence stakeholders and drive change in a global, matrixed environment.
