As part of their strategic growth in Asia, they are currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Freight Sales Manager to manage key client relationships and drive commercial success across their freight forwarding services.

Key responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain trusted partnerships with key enterprise customers to understand their logistics requirements and provide tailored freight solutions.
  • Sales Development: Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts while actively pursuing new business opportunities to expand the client portfolio.
  • Commercial Negotiations: Lead the end-to-end negotiation of contracts, pricing models, and service agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal stakeholders across operations, customer service, and pricing teams to ensure smooth execution of client solutions.
  • Account Performance Monitoring: Track service delivery and account health, proactively addressing any issues while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Market Intelligence & Reporting: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and account metrics to generate reports and advise on commercial strategy.

Role requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in freight forwarding sales or account management, ideally within a regional or global context.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and a consultative sales approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Highly adaptable with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
