Our client has been tasked with helping to build the founding team for an exciting new venture, initiated by an established blockchain business. As a part of this they are seeking ambitious individuals for the role of Head of Partnerships to establish the market entry strategy, engage valuable partners and creators from scratch contributing to building level one and level two blockchain.

Key responsibilities

  • Formulate the strategy for expanding the ecosystem and focus on essential sectors (NFTs, gaming, infrastructure, tools, DeFi), while establishing critical performance metrics.
  • Identify, onboard, and assist elite developers, decentralized applications, and key strategic allies.
  • Create and oversee incentive initiatives (such as grants, collaborative marketing, and rewards) to enhance engagement and user retention.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with creators, game developers, Web3-native intellectual properties, DAOs, foundations, and others.
  • Act as the project’s representative on a global scale at conferences, community gatherings, and public discussions.

Role requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Partnership / Account Management / Business Development roles gained from sizeable Web3 / Blockchain companies.
  • Strong network built in the industry.
  • Sound knowledge of smart contracts principles, token-based incentive models, on-chain metrics.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and strategic approach to work.
