Financial Planning Analyst

Our client is a fast-growing company in the renewable energy sector, focused on supporting offshore infrastructure and enabling the energy transition across Asia. With strong investor backing and a growing regional footprint, the company is building a high-performing finance team to support its ambitious growth plans.

They are currently looking for a Financial Planning Analyst to join their Singapore team. This role offers a great opportunity for a hands-on and motivated individual to gain regional exposure and grow in a strategic finance environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts
  • Assist in the development of financial models and performance dashboards
  • Monitor key financial and operational KPIs and flag variances or trends
  • Prepare internal reports and support management in business performance reviews
  • Help analyze new projects and support financial input for business decisions
  • Collaborate with finance and IT teams to improve planning tools, systems, and processes

Role requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, business finance, or audit
  • Background in renewable energy, infrastructure, or capital-intensive industries is a plus
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modelling
  • Experience with Anaplan, ERP systems, or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is an advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Eager to learn, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
  • Fluent in English; Mandarin is a plus for regional communication
