Our client is a leading industrial player and is seeking a meticulous and experienced Payroll Specialist to manage and process end-to-end payroll in-house for their Singapore operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Process monthly payroll for all employees, including calculation of salaries, bonuses, overtime, and deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (e.g., CPF, IRAS, SDL, SHG, NS make-up pay, etc.).
  • Handle employee queries related to payroll, tax filings, and other compensation matters.
  • Prepare and submit monthly payroll reports, bank files, and statutory filings.
  • Ensure timely submission of IR8A, Form IR21, and other relevant tax documentation.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (HR, Finance) for payroll inputs and approvals.
  • Stay updated on changes to labor laws, tax regulations, and CPF guidelines.
  • Support audits and ensure proper documentation of all payroll processes.

Role requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on payroll experience, preferably with in-house processing.
  • Strong knowledge of local payroll regulations and statutory compliance.
  • Proficient in payroll systems, preferably SuccessFactors.
  • High attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
