Key responsibilities

Business Partnering

  • Partner with regional business unit leaders to support strategic decision-making, budget planning, and performance management.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to drive business growth, margin improvements, and operational efficiency.
  • Support commercial initiatives such as pricing, market expansion, cost optimization, and investment evaluations.
  • Act as a financial advisor to non-finance leaders, translating complex financial data into actionable insights.

 

Regional Oversight & Governance

  • Review and challenge financial reports, tax reports, forecasts, and budgets submitted by in-country finance teams.
  • Ensure consistency in accounting policies, internal controls, and reporting standards across all markets.
  • Drive alignment and best practice sharing across the region.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits across the region and support remediation of identified issues.

 

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Consolidate and review monthly regional performance, highlighting risks and opportunities to senior leadership.
  • Track and analyze key financial KPIs to monitor business performance.
  • Assist in preparing board or executive reports as required.

 

Team Collaboration & Support

  • Provide guidance and technical support to in-country finance managers and their teams.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and collaboration across the regional finance community.
  • Support capability building and training initiatives for local finance teams.

Role requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, CPA, CA, or ACCA qualification preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including regional exposure and at least 2–3 years in a business partnering capacity.
  • Experience managing or working with multi-country finance teams across Asia or similar regions.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, internal controls, and business performance drivers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across cultures and functions.
  • Comfortable working in a matrix or fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
