Key responsibilities

  • Producing and reviewing daily P&L and P&L explanations for the internal stakeholders.
  • Working closely with other Middle Office functions (Valuations, Risk & Operations, Treasury teams) to resolve booking, P&L distribution, accounting and valuations queries.
  • Performing regular portfolio analysis to ensure the valuations are appropriate.
  • Undertaking month-end procedures, including Balance Sheet substantiation.

Role requirements

  • Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, CFA)
  • A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Product Control in Investment Banking or other financial services companies
  • Sound knowledge in Equity Derivative products.
  • Excellent MS Office skills and knowledge of other analytical digital tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Python) as an advantage
  • Analytical mindset and strong interpersonal skills
