VP – Financial Planning & Analysis (Fintech/Retail Banking)

We are currently partnering with a leading FinTech organization based in Singapore.

They are looking to hire an FP&A candidate into their Singapore office, at a VP equivalent level.

In this role, the successful candidate will tackle a range of exciting business challenges, drive data-informed decision-making, and help shape high-quality, customer-focused products. This role will act as a trusted advisor to the business and a key steward of financial performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate, consistent financial and management information with actionable insights to support decision-making and deepen understanding of business performance.
  • Establish and track key KPIs and dashboards, partnering with technology, product, and data teams to enable real-time performance monitoring.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes, ensuring alignment with business priorities and financial goals.
  • Provide analytical support through financial modeling, profitability analysis, benchmarking, and scenario planning to guide strategic and operational decisions.
  • Act as a strategic finance partner, driving sustainable growth, effective balance sheet management, and delivery of annual budget targets.

Role requirements

  • At least 10 years experience in FP&A
  • Experience within Retail Banking strongly preferred – if not, FP&A experience within Financial Services is essential
  • Experience of driving cost reduction would be a plus
  • Strong in stakeholder management to influence and effectively challenge C-suite stakeholders.
