AVP, Fund Reporting (Japanese speaking)

Our client is a global leader in Corporate Services and is seeking an AVP- Fund Reporting -Real Estate Funds.

Japanese speaker required: due to the nature of client engagements

Key responsibilities

Review monthly/ quarterly financial reports and valuations such as NAV/ Cash analysis
Provide support for deal acquisition and management in accounting and reporting functions
Help the team lead with asset sales, including preparing fund flows and working with tax teams, and support the portfolio deal management in accounting and reporting.
Review monthly reports, check quarterly valuations (NAV, debt, and cash), and tracked liquidity and cash regularly.
Work closely with the relevant internal teams such as legal, tax and legal teams to ensure smooth flow of deliverables
Be involved in projects such as process improvements initiatives to improve workflow

Role requirements

Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in an accounting function in financial services preference in Private Equity/ Real Estate funds background
Chartered Accountant or Bachers degree in accountancy is essential
Candidates directly from Big 4 accounting firms with experience in auditing financial services/ Real estate may apply
Strong stakeholder / vendor management skills with the ability to work with members of different departments is critical
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and work independently in a high-pressure environment
Japanese speaking skills is essential to liaise with stakeholders based in Japan.
