Financial Analyst – Broker Performance & Compensation

We are currently partnering with a global brokerage firm who have a strong presence in the APAC region, who are looking to hire a Financial Analyst into their team

This position plays a key role in delivering accurate and insightful broker calculations and performance analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of all financial data, supporting the wider business through detailed analysis, and providing visibility into broker performance and commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the full process of broker remuneration calculations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with contractual terms.
  • Prepare and maintain complex financial models and analytical tools to support performance tracking and scenario analysis.
  • Provide in-depth analysis of broker results, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to explain calculation outcomes, resolve queries, and enhance process efficiency.
  • Co-ordinate APAC compensation control activities to ensure consistency and alignment across regional processes.

Role requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, with a professional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, CGMA, ACCA) preferred.
  • Brings a strong foundation in Finance or Accounting, ideally with 3+ years’ experience in a related analytical or reporting role.
  • Confident working with large datasets and translating them into clear insights and meaningful outputs.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and comfortable building and managing complex, logic-based spreadsheets; PowerPoint and other reporting tools also valued.
