Sr Director– Offshore Company Secretarial Services

Our client is an established Corporate Services Provider in the region and seeking an experienced Senior Director to lead the overall operation and management of their Servicing team based overseas. This is an excellent role with great autonomy and seeking someone who can manage, drive and structure the team and their deliverables and achieve excellent results. The role will require regular monthly travel to be with the team, but in good limits.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of all overseas corporate services, ensuring the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Develop, implement, and refine standardized operating procedures and workflows.
  • Provide guidance to client service teams on complex client communications and engagements.
  • Review and approve complex corporate structures and transactions, providing expert advice and risk assessment.
  • Act as an escalation point for key client relationships and high-priority projects, ensuring effective resolution of issues.
  • Ensure all corporate secretarial and entity management activities adhere to the legal and regulatory requirements of key jurisdictions (BVI, Cayman, Hong Kong, etc.).
  • Oversee the compliance framework for all overseas entities, coordinating with the compliance department on complex or exceptional matters.
  • Balance strict regulatory requirements with client business needs by developing pragmatic, risk-controlled solutions.
  • Manage relationships with overseas legal counsel, registered agents, and other professional service providers.
  • Establish a robust vendor management and evaluation system to ensure service quality, cost-effectiveness, and accountability.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a large, multi-location team of corporate services professionals.

Role requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Law, Finance, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience within the corporate services or company secretarial industry.
  • At least 5 years in a senior management role, with proven experience leading large, operational teams (experience managing 100+ team members is highly preferred).
  • Hands-on expertise in offshore company structures, fund administration, and corporate secretarial practice for jurisdictions such as BVI, Cayman Islands, and Hong Kong.
  • Professional membership such as STEP, HKCGI/ CGI or equivalent is preferred.
  • Ability to align operational strategy with broader business goals.
  • Proven ability to build, optimize, and manage efficient operational systems.
  • Exceptional people leadership skills with the ability to coordinate across departments and drive results.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin essential
