Our client is a well-established global organization is expanding its finance operations in Malaysia and is looking for a hands-on Accountant to manage end-to-end Record-to-Report (RTR) processes. This is a sole contributor role, working closely with regional stakeholders and supporting intercompany and reporting activities across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities
- Managing full month-end closing activities
- Handling intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Supporting AP & AR matters (Philippines portfolio)
- Preparing financial data for statutory reporting and compliance
- Supporting ongoing ERP implementation and improvements
- Working closely with regional finance stakeholders
- You will work directly with key finance leads in the team as part of a lean and collaborative setup
Role requirements
- 3–5 years of accounting experience
- Strong RTR / GL experience in an SSC or structured finance environment
- Exposure to intercompany accounting
- Experience working with ERP systems (implementation exposure is a plus)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance (professional certifications are advantageous)
- Independent, hands-on, and comfortable in a sole contributor role
