Audit Manager (External)

Key responsibilities

• Engagements will be assigned by the firm, and travel may be required depending on project needs. Reporting to the Partners, key responsibilities include:
• Manage a portfolio of international and local clients, delivering high-quality audit and assurance services. This includes planning, directing, and completing audits, while guiding and developing team members to achieve engagement objectives.
• Apply professional scepticism and sound judgment when addressing critical technical matters.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and project timelines, ensuring proactive and timely communication on engagement progress.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on developments in professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members to strengthen technical competencies, including conducting internal training sessions with support from the technical and training teams.
• Oversee staff performance management, conduct timely evaluations, and provide constructive feedback.
• Support business development initiatives, including involvement in proposals and client pitches.
• Manage engagement financials in collaboration with the audit support team, including budgeting, profitability monitoring, work-in-progress, billing, and collections.
• Facilitate effective communication within cross-functional and culturally diverse teams.
