Key responsibilities
Demand Management:
- Lead monthly SI&OP meetings with key stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality Assurance.
- Manage forecasting tools based on decisions made during SI&OP meetings.
- Oversee the forecast and purchase orders to Manufacturing Partners, Suppliers, and other partners.
- Coordinate supply chain activities related to product launches, patient programs, and tender information.
Inventory Management:
- Facilitate deliveries to the importer’s warehouse, ensuring accurate information flow to prevent issues.
- Monitor inventory levels and report potential shortages.
- Coordinate physical inventory counts at importer’s and third-party logistics (3PL) facilities.
- Aid in month-end and year-end closing processes and stock reconciliation.
- Manage import/export transactions and compliance with local drug tests and customs inquiries.
Vendor Relationship Management:
- Support risk assessments for Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs), strategic suppliers, and carriers.
- Review and manage service fees and write-off claims from importers and 3PLs.
Systems & Tools:
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly reports from the importer and SAP systems.
- Maintain vendor details within SAP and upload forecasts to the OMP system promptly, ensuring clear communication about forecast changes.
Compliance Management:
- Develop and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for supply chain processes.
- Support Quality Assurance with validation and audits of local distributors, 3PLs, and importers.
- Coordinate responses to supply chain complaints and deviations.
Reporting & KPI Management:
- Track supply chain KPIs including product availability, out-of-stock days, obsolete items, and forecast accuracy.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor stock allocation schemes for active products.
- Provide backup support to other team members in operations and systems.
- Assist the Supply Chain Head in developing supply strategies and improving team reputation.
Role requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare/consumer goods industry or supply chain management preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
